Nourishing Our Roots: A Juneteenth Celebration of Heritage and Wellness

Black Girl Vitamins is honoring Juneteenth with the theme Nourishing Our Roots, one that encourages Black women to tend to both the roots of their history and the roots of their wellness. The BGV team believes that America’s current political climate makes Juneteenth not just a celebration of the end of slavery in the United States, but an act of cultural preservation. Black history is at risk of erasure, and our wellness is something the world has always treated as insignificant. Times like these require us to support, celebrate, and remind one another of our powerful history… even when the odds seem stacked against us.

This year, BGV is celebrating through a special week-long sale, limited-edition packaging for the Once a Day vitamins and Collagen powder, commemorative freebies, a 90s themed brand photoshoot, and a Juneteenth event tour, with proceeds supporting their commitment to empowering aspiring medical students. We are committed to reminding our customers of the power, heritage, and wellness found within the Black community.

The sale will last from June 16 - 20th, highlighting BGV’s Collagen Powder as a kitchen essential and the Once a Day  vitamin as a daily staple, both in festive Juneteenth packaging. This collagen is versatile, dissolves within seconds, and blends perfectly with any meal. Customers can nourish their roots with cultural foods while nourishing their bodies with added protein that promotes joint health, bone strength, skin elasticity, and so much more!
