Who are BGV's medical advisors?
Black Girl Vitamins was founded with guidance from Black women medical practitioners, and we continue to work with a panel of medical advisors who help shape our formulas and programs.
Are BGV products backed by real science?
Every formula is developed with input from our medical advisors and built around the nutritional gaps most common in Black women, like Vitamin D and iron deficiency.
Are BGV products safe and tested?
Yes. All BGV products are third-party tested and made in an FDA-registered facility following Good Manufacturing Practices.
What is the BGV Scholars program?
BGV Scholars awards $1,000 to $5,000 in scholarships to Black women pursuing healthcare degrees at HBCUs, part of a $100,000 commitment to the next generation of Black women in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and public health.
How do I apply or get involved?
Applications are open on a rolling basis to Black women enrolled in an accredited healthcare program at an HBCU with a 3.0 GPA or higher. Healthcare professionals interested in partnering with BGV can apply through the Partner With Us form.
