The Homecoming of Health HBCU Tour Returns for Year Two!

We’re hitting the road for our second annual Homecoming of Health HBCU Tour, and we’re bringing BGV University with us. After last year’s tour, we wanted to make this year’s experience more intentional, more educational, and even more valuable for the students and graduates we meet along the way.
This year, instead of simply stopping by campus, we’re creating a space where students can learn practical ways to take care of themselves during some of the most demanding parts of college life. From long study sessions and exam season to balancing classes, work, friendships, and everything in between, wellness can easily fall to the bottom of the list. We want to help change that.
Our Study Hall will give students an opportunity to explore everyday wellness topics, learn more about nutrition, and discover ways to make taking care of themselves part of their routine. We’ll also connect that education to some of our products, including Calm Girl, Chlorophyll, and Her Balance, and talk about how they can fit into a student’s daily wellness routine.
And we’re not just showing up for students.
Our Homecoming of Health Tour is also a way for us to stay connected with HBCU alumni. Graduation doesn’t mean you stop needing support for your health. As graduates build careers, take on new responsibilities, and work hard in their respective fields, we want BGV to continue to be a wellness resource they can turn to.
That’s part of why we’re being intentional about making each tour stop bigger and more engaging this year. We may have fewer stops than last year, but each one will offer more opportunities to learn, connect, and engage. We’re investing more into the experience at every campus so that students and alumni get more out of every visit.
Visitors can participate in an interactive wellness prompt, explore BGV products, and take home free BGV merch. Because if you’re coming to see us during homecoming, we want you to leave with something you can actually use, and hopefully a few new wellness habits, too.
Where We’re Headed
This year, we’re bringing the Homecoming of Health Tour to campuses across the country:
October 9–10: Central State University — Wilberforce, Ohio
October 16–17: Howard University — Washington, D.C.
October 23–24: Texas Southern University — Houston, Texas
November 6–7: Xavier University of Louisiana — New Orleans, Louisiana
November 28: Bayou Classic — New Orleans, Louisiana
From Ohio to D.C., Houston, and New Orleans, we’re excited to reconnect with HBCU communities and bring wellness directly to the people who make these campuses what they are.
For us, the Homecoming of Health Tour is about showing up for Black students and graduates in every stage of their journey. College can be demanding. Building a career can be demanding. Life is demanding. We want to create spaces where taking care of yourself feels just as important as everything else on your plate.
And while homecoming season only comes around once a year, the habits you build for your health can stick with you long after the celebrations end.
Welcome back to BGV University. Class is officially in session.
