Signing Day: Black Girl Vitamins x Howard University Women's Basketball

On November 10, 2024, Black Girl Vitamins met with Howard University’s Women's Basketball team for a Signing Day Ceremony. It was held to officially commemorate our partnership as the team's official vitamin sponsor! This empowering event provided an opportunity for Howard’s players and coaches to connect with BGV’s leadership team, highlighting their shared values of unity, sisterhood, and Black excellence. 

The ceremony included speeches from Coach Ty and Coach J of Howard's basketball team, and Jennifer Juma of BGV. Their words uplifted the young women, celebrating their greatness both on and off the court. The speeches were followed by lots of pictures and a Q&A session for those who wanted to learn more.

Adding to the excitement, HU crowned Jennifer as Queen of the Court for her robust career experience and the wealth of business knowledge that she brings to our company. She played a huge role in securing this partnership with Coach J, and the team expressed their gratitude for her unwavering support.  .  

Jennifer also hyped the players up in the locker room and made an appearance on the court to watch them play. 

She affirmed the anxious players, “Yall are winning already so just keep going, let all the wins you have power you and fuel you to do great today and the rest of the season. I’m cheering for you, we’re all cheering for you, and you’re all queens already. Just keep doing what you’re doing and you got this!” 

We extended our support for the Howard players by handing out vitamin samples designed to boost their athletic journeys. These essentials are tailored to meet the unique needs of Black women, providing the right amount of energy needed to perform at their best.
