Happy Holidays from BGV! A Multi-City Celebration of Community, Joy, and Sisterhood

This month, we had the joy of celebrating our beloved customers during the Annual BGV Ugly Sweater Party, with unforgettable stops in the DMV, Chicago, and Atlanta. Each city brought its own vibe, but there was Black girl joy, connection, and celebration at all three!

From the moment ladies walked through the doors, festive sweaters and big smiles set the tone for an evening designed to celebrate everyone who supports, uplifts, and grows with BGV. The music kept us lively all night, and Kahoot games made us a bit competitive. Guests enjoyed a spread that ranged from egg rolls to rice dishes, alongside classic favorites like mac and cheese. With drinks flowing throughout the night, the atmosphere stayed full of celebration.

As a thank-you to everyone who joined us, each guest left with a curated goodie bag featuring exclusive BGV merch, giving them an early look at items set to launch for loyalty program members in the new year. 

More than anything, the Ugly Sweater Party was a reminder of why we do what we do. BGV is about community, shared experiences, and creating spaces where Black women feel celebrated, supported, and seen. Seeing women from different cities come together, laugh freely, and pour into one another was this year’s highlight.

To everyone who came out and showed love, we thank you. And if you missed us this time, don’t worry. This is only the beginning. We can’t wait to continue building moments like these with our BGV family in the year ahead!
