Black Girl Vitamins Essence Fest 2025 Recap!

The Black Girl Vitamins team has made it back from our first Essence Festival and listen… a time was had!!!

Let Us Paint a Picture For You:

From July 4th to the 7th, the BGV ladies took over New Orleans with our highly demanded vitamins and head-turning branded jumpsuits! As we left our hotel rooms around 8 am to set up on the first day, people were already asking about the vitamins and what time our booth was opening. Those early questions were nice to hear, but nothing could have prepared us for the love we received all weekend long!

BGV customers, both new and old, did not play when it came to their wellness. Since Day 1, the team was greeted with smiles, love, amazing testimonials, and wellness questions that BGV Medical Advisor, Dr. Swiner was able to answer on the spot. Our line was never-ending to the point of getting into trouble with security, but they admitted that it was an amazing problem to have!

We sold out before noon on the very first day!!!!

In the midst of this unexpected demand, we were sampling gummies, passing out bright orange tote bags with branded magnets, and reassuring everyone that we’d restock soon! Once we did… the line reappeared even larger, looping around the back of the convention center.

Can you believe we sold a bottle per minute?! Neither can we, and we are eternally grateful for your support.

Days 2 and 3 had the same crowd, and we had to fly products from our warehouse in Chicago to New Orleans both days!! The most in-demand products were: Sea Moss, Once a Day, Meno-Chill, and Collagen Powder

Dr. Swiner had the opportunity to present scholarship checks to medical students Twyla Frank and Brionna King as a continuation of our $100k commitment

A few celebrities and influencers also stopped by the BGV booth! Some visitors included:  Dr. Contessa and Quad from Married to Medicine, influencer Kerri Paul, reality star Omarosa, Nigerian Actress Beverly Naya, influencer Chi-Chi Adogu, hair care founder Taliah Waajid, and Richelieu Dennis, Executive Chair of Essence Ventures!
