$100,000 BGV Scholarship for Black Women in Healthcare!
Black Girl Vitamins is excited to enhance our commitment to healthcare through the expansion of our scholarship program. Over the next two years, we will award $100,000 in scholarships to Black women enrolled in medical programs at HBCUs!
The Black Girl Vitamins Scholars program aims to create more health experts that look like us. This expansion allows for more recipients to receive scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 and further their education.
Take a look at some of our previous winners here!
With only 2.8% of America’s 4 million doctors being Black women, the need for more representation in healthcare has never been clearer. The scholarship is all about creating opportunities, offering financial aid, and celebrating the next generation of healthcare leaders ready to make a difference. We’re thrilled to provide this opportunity to support Black women’s journeys in healthcare, allowing them to flourish and bring their unique insights to the field.
Anna Palomino, our Chief Marketing Officer, says it best: “We know that better care happens when healthcare providers and patients share similar life experiences. Supporting Black women in their pursuit of medical careers is crucial to fostering more equitable healthcare for underrepresented communities.”
We want to see more Black women in white coats and ready to lead and inspire in communities that need it most! Keep reading to find out how you or someone you love could be our next recipient.

This scholarship aligns with our mission at Black Girl Vitamins to enhance health outcomes for Black women and invest in the communities we love. From our recent partnership as the official supplement sponsor of the Howard University Women’s Basketball Team to our $100,000 vitamin donations to various organizations over the past 3 years, we’re always looking for ways to lift each other up.
Jennifer Juma, our Head of Strategy, shares our excitement: “We are thrilled to support future healthcare providers who will make a meaningful impact in their communities. This scholarship program is just one way we’re investing in the future of healthcare for Black women.”
Of course, none of this would be possible without the support of our dedicated customers, whose loyalty and belief in the brand have allowed these initiatives to flourish!
The commitment will be officially announced on stage at the ultimate women’s expo in Atlanta on November 3rd!
