Collagen-Rich Baked Mac & Cheese

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups macaroni

  • ¼ cup butter

  • 1 cup milk of choice

  • 1 cup bone broth (chicken or turkey)

  • Celtic sea salt & black pepper

  • 2½ cups shredded white cheddar

  • Chives for garnish

  • BGV Collagen

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook and drain pasta.

  2. In a skillet, melt butter and whisk in 2 tbsp flour. Slowly add milk and broth; simmer 5–6 minutes until thick.

  3. Stir in salt, pepper, and 2 cups cheese until melted.

  4. Mix in 1 scoop BGV Collagen, then fold in pasta.

  5. Pour into baking dish, top with remaining cheese, and bake 10 minutes (broil 1–2 to brown). Garnish with chives.

  • 2 lbs russet potatoes, cubed

  • ¼ cup avocado oil

  • ½ cup milk of choice

  • 3 strips of bacon, cooked and chopped (optional)

  • Green onion & parsley for garnish

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Boil potatoes in salted water 10–12 minutes or until soft.

  2. Drain and mash with oil and milk.

  3. Stir in 1–2 scoops BGV Collagen, season with salt and pepper.

  4. Fold in green onions, top with bacon and parsley.

  • Cornmeal & flour (1 cup each)

  • 1 tbsp baking powder + 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup buttermilk

  • ½ cup honey + ¼ cup brown sugar

  • 6 tbsp butter (4 melted, 2 for skillet)

  • BGV Collagen

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F; melt 2 tbsp butter in cast iron skillet.

  2. In a bowl, combine dry ingredients. In another, whisk eggs, buttermilk, honey, brown sugar, melted butter, and 1 scoop BGV Collagen.

  3. Fold wet into dry, pour into hot skillet, and bake 20 minutes or until golden.

Ingredients:

  • 5 medium sweet potatoes, peeled & sliced

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • ½ cup dark brown sugar

  • ½ cup butter

  • Cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, salt, vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and butter a baking dish.

  2. In a saucepan, melt butter with sugars and spices; stir until blended.

  3. Remove from heat, then mix in 1 scoop of BGV Collagen and stir in vanilla.

  4. Pour syrup over potatoes, toss to coat.

  5. Bake covered for 40 minutes, then uncover and continue baking for 30–40 minutes more, until tender and caramelized.

  1. Boil eggs for 7–8 minutes; cool in ice water. Peel and halve.
